One-to-one consultation
You are always welcome to book a time for a FREE personal consultation/discussion of 50 minutes' duration.
This offer is a kind of “taster”, as I think it's important that you have the opportunity to ask questions that are on your mind before you embark on a proper course of therapy.
Profile
For many years, I have been involved in helping people in crisis. My primary theoretical standpoint is the Jungian psychoanalytic tradition.
I am a Jungian analyst, trained at the C.G. Jung Institute in Copenhagen. The seven-year training (now six years) includes, among many other things, a minimum of 300 hours of personal analysis. I completed the training with a thesis on mystical and numinous experiences in relation to therapy and the lifelong developmental process – individuation. I have a special interest in the more spiritual aspects within Gnosticism, alchemy, Buddhism, and meditation. Depth psychology, and especially Jung, has gathered these threads in his collected works and, of course, the Red Book.
Further information about the education can be found here: cg-jung.dk

I have a particular fondness for the Jungian technique or method of active imagination. Essentially, it is a method for coming into contact or dialogue with the unconscious and giving it form. Active imagination can be understood as a meeting between the conscious and the unconscious, leading to a new perspective and an encounter with what Jung later termed the Self. I have run workshops in active imagination at the Jung Society for a number of years and also teach it at the Jung Institute.
The IFS (Internal Family Systems) method uses a technique very similar to active imagination and in 2025 I obtained an IFS Level 1 certificate. Therefore, I also offer IFS therapy as it is an extremely effective method for connecting with the personal unconscious in particular, but also the collective unconscious.
I am a member of DSAP (Danish Society for Analytical Psychology), IAAP (International Association of Analytical Psychology), and DPF (Danish Psychotherapist Association).
I originally trained as an engineer (DTU) and have an MBA (University of Queensland), giving me a somewhat unconventional business background. I've always had a great interest in people and how we connect, philosophy, and the more existential questions.
I am deeply passionate about the in-depth therapeutic process – a process that can help to heal emotional wounds and create positive changes in your life. The relationship between client and therapist is important for a good course of treatment. Therefore, the first session concludes with an assessment, where we mutually decide if we shall continue the therapy.
The therapy itself takes place for one hour per week/fortnight, preferably on the same day of the week and at the same time, but can be adapted to your needs and possibilities.
I'm looking forward to meeting you.
